The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War is a patriotic and educational organization, similar to the Grand Army of the Republic. It was founded on November 12, 1881 and incorporated by Act of Congress August 20, 1954. The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War is the legal heir to and representative of the Grand Army of the Republic.

The Gen. George Stoneman Jr. Camp No. 18 of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW) was formed in 2010 and named after Gen. George Stoneman, Jr. (1822-1894).

  • AREA: The Camp serves the Inland Empire of California, including the counties of Riverside and San Bernardino.
     
  • MEETINGS: Held bi-monthly on the 3rd Saturday of even numbered months at locations to be announced around the Riverside, California area.
     
  • NEWSLETTER: Stoneman Dispatch published bi-monthly of odd numbered months.
     
  • MEMORIAL DAY PARTICIPATION: Evergreen Memorial Historic Cemetery in Riverside, California on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.
     
  • DUES: Annual dues are $40.00, with a $10.00 application fee paid the first year.
