The Auxiliary to Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (ASUVCW) is a patriotic and educational organization, which strives to assist the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW) in keeping alive the memories of our ancestors and their sacrifices for the maintenance of the Union; to aid in caring for helpless and disabled veterans; and to properly observe Memorial Day.

Ivy Stiers Auxiliary No. 23, ASUVCW was chartered at the 122nd Annual National Encampment at Peabody, Massachusetts on August 9, 2008 and was named for U.S. Army nurse Ivy Stiers, who is buried in the Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery. It is the official Auxiliary to the Col. Elmer Ellsworth Camp No. 23.

  • AREA: The Auxiliary serves the North San Francisco Bay Area.
  • MEETINGS: Held at the same time and place as the Col. Elmer Ellsworth Camp No. 23, as determined by the Camp Commander.
  • MEMORIAL DAY PARTICIPATION: To be announced.
  • VETERANS DAY PARTICIPATION: To be announced.
  • DUES: Annual dues are $40.00.
